Responding to the challenges posed by government corruption, greenwashing, and the critical shortfall in meeting emission targets set by the 2030 Paris Agreement, The Sequestinator is the eradication of coal in Newcastle. Repurposed with an ecosystem of algae cultivation this proposal aims to repair the environmental and societal damage caused by centuries of coal industrialisation.The objectives: To heal the ecological scars of post settlement habitat destruction, to preserve the port??????s economic vitality, to re-establish the connection between communities and the harbor, and to eradicate existing coal operations under a cohesive megastructure.
