This is not just a massive structure, it is more like an exploration of the original site, a journey in search of the balance for Newcastle. Social contradictions, identity recognition, community development, climate change, site contamination, and a series of issues all stem from the control of balance. As the pillar industry of Newcastle, coal mining is still an important financial lifeline for Australia, but its impact will sweep across the globe. Everyone knows the consequences once the balance between carbon emissions and absorption is broken. However, this delicate balance is not only found in carbon emissions. The unbalanced development of communities has a huge impact on inter-community relations and urban development. Exploring the balance between the two and finding a way out for Newcastle is the direction this design will explore.
