Humans travel between colossal structures using transportation vehicles that meet the most basic survival space requirements. Thanks to technological advancements, people can choose lifestyles they prefer. Many opt to upload their consciousness to the cloud, while their bodies enter a state of dormancy, no longer occupying physical space in the real world. Those living in the real world establish their small modular residences at the tops of these colossal structures. The original building materials from the land are recycled and reused by new robots. At this point, humans use bacteria to purify the soil.
