"Looking forward, looking back" The Hunter Group‘s contribution to Catherine Hill Bay’s vision is to create a thriving local, family and tourist destination that pays homage to the past while bringing new life to the greater Hunter region. The site used to have a glorious coal industry, which led to the development of Catherine Hill Bay, but now it has completely disappeared. When designing a new tourist attraction, in addition to complying with the natural advantages of the site and solving its constraints, I echoed this history by using "posed building structures and roof structures" and a "heritage walk" to allow visitors to experience the atmosphere of the industrial era while walking through modern buildings.
